So, my very own blog. I haven't written anything online since I spent my gap year traveling the world, and well that was a few years ago now. Since those days a lot has changed. I am a mum now, and I live with my lovely boyfriend Paul in a flat in Harringay, North London. Our little Alice is almost 1 now, not so little any more and in a blink of an eye we will be having a birthday party for her. In the pub. Some things never change ay? We will be celebrating at The Sailsbury, which is not only the centre of the Harringay community (I think so anyway) it is also where Paul and I met so I guess it is in part responsible for the creation of our little family. A special place for us. Of course since having a baby I have come to realise that there are many other 'centres' to our community, there is the park, and the schools and the childrens centres. And there are other more hidden areas that you only know about when you have a baby, like the breastfeeding groups and the toy libaries, even a new virtual community I have discovered call Harringay Online where I read the thoughts of neighbours who I may or may not know and who discuss all the comings and goings of our little slice of North London.
